In much need of a makeover the Model T was taken apart, sandblasted, primed & painted. It got a rebuilt engine, new wood and new tires. In May of 2008 it was brought back to EFD and it was readied for the Memorial Day Parade. It made several appearances in 2008 including the Eastpointe Gratiot Cruise, The Ford Centennial Celebrations in Detroit and Dearborn, The Old Car Festival at The Henry Ford, The Bath City Festival in Mt Clemens, and America's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit.
Pictured below is the Model T out in front of the station in May 2008, a few days after it returned from restoration.
