Eastpointe Firefighters with the help of Roseville, St Clair Shores, Warren, Detroit Arsenal and Centerline Firefighters had their hands full with this house fire in the 22100 block of Nevada today.
The heavy fire rolling out the front door is what Firefighters call "Flashover". When the contents of the room reach about 1,000 degrees fahrenheit, everything burns.
Firefighters used numerous handlines and the elevated master streams on the ladder truck to knock the fire down so that an entry team could enter and perform and interior attack.
